Poem – Burn To The End

​

Some days I feel faded

But today I burn bright.

So long I have waited

And now I will give up this fight.

 

If I decide to wait

Slowly I will fade

The wait, like a fight

But it is all over on this night.

 

If my light burns ‘til the end

It is only cause yours burns with mine.

Against fading we will defend,

Together no light could be more fine.

 

I’d rather burn out

Than fade away.

Never fade myself away

But burn, burn bright ‘til the last day.
